Carol is a pioneer within the Minority participation arena and utilizes two key principles when working with clients – delivering a high standard of quality and employing a fair-minded approach when offering solutions. Being in business for 40 plus years, Carol has been referred to as a trailblazer that made change across the Minority/Women/Small Businesses community. In the early eighties, few women held roles within the construction industry, but fueled by a strong desire to make a difference for individuals who were not being provided opportunities within the contracting community. Carol established a consulting firm, Lil Associates II, Inc. to bridge a gap for Minority and Women Businesses and majority owned construction companies. 

Over the years, the company has practiced the core value of giving back to the community and  encourages employees to do the same. Over the years she has been recognized by various corporate leaders, trade associations, and civic organizations for her leadership and proactive approach to diversity and inclusion.
